So I posted this to Facebook and Twitter a couple of days ago, but I might as well make it official across all my current social media channels and explain what you’ll see in the future.
As of a few days ago, I am now the Craft Beer columnist for Monday Magazine here in Victoria. My first column will (hopefully) be in the paper copy at the end of January, and online posts will likely start around the same time, possibly earlier.
So, what does this mean for the blog and Matter of Beer in general? Not as much as you would expect. Stories posted to Monday will likely be cross posted to the blog, and I will continue to share my thoughts on the industry, but that focus may narrow a little bit more to beer on the South Island.
In addition, there may be a bit of a brief slowdown for now while I rework my pipeline of stories to work with the column. Once stories start to get posted again, they should become a regular occurrence once more.
Finally, I want to reach out, and say, if you want to see something here, in the print copy or on Mondaymag.com, let me know, and I will do my best to get the word out.
