Driftwood Brewery Releases Venatrix Framboise Wild Ale

Also appears on Mondaymag.com

Driftwood Brewery has just released Venatrix Framboise Wild Ale, its most recent addition to its wild and sour Bird of Prey lineup. Joining its Latus, Obscuritas, De Auras and Flanders Red, this fifth edition has been patiently waiting for release for some time.

Combining Superior Pilsen malts with Hersbrucker hops, then conditioned and barrel-aged for more than a year, this beer will come off as crisp, tart, and fruity. In addition, coming in at 7% ABV, should make for a complex and bold profile.

Further, the label by Hired Guns Creative out of Nanaimo, is yet another example of why Driftwood Brewery continues to be showcased for their eye-catching designs.

Released today, it should be available on liquor store shelves around Victoria now.
