Driftwood Launches Arcus Pilsner

Driftwood Brewery has launched it’s latest seasonal, Arcus Pilsner, and it just screams summer beer. A North German Pilsner, this light crisp brew offers emphatic Tettnanger hop characteristics in both aroma and finish. Lagered for an extended period, the Canadian malt base pairs will with the noble hop character.

The straw colour and light body of it fits perfectly with the biscuity malt notes, and is carbonated in a delightful way that will scrub the palate to leave a fantastic light hop finish.

Once again, the label art for Driftwood’s Beers is another treat from Hired Guns Creative, as this one has definitely fired a bulls-eye.

With the sun shining, this beer is sure to be a crowd pleaser for the summer months, and will go well with almost anything, but in this case will pair exceptionally well with seafoods, light cheeses, breads and nuts.

Find it at Island liquor stores this week, and the mainland next week.
