So the list is out, and boy does it look good. As an alternative to the Victoria Beer Society website, which might get a little bogged down with up to 4000 people trying to use it at once, I have recreated the list below, including the location, brewery name, beer name and description, and ABV.
One thing I’m loving, and it’s just the attention to detail, but for the majority of breweries with numbers in their name, they’ve had their location on site matched up to their number, so Parallel 49 is at 49, 33 Brewing Experiment is at 33, and so on.
If you’re looking for recommendations, keep an eye out on the Victoria Beer Society Blog to see what myself and a few others are looking forward to trying.

STRAWBERRY CARDAMON GOSE Our Gose is soured with our own house strain of Lactobacillus Bacteria. That culture was made in the traditional method from Germany by soaking the pre-fermented beer on more grain. The Bacteria on the grain, under the right conditions, sour the beer, in a similar manner to the way yogurt is made. Once the desired level of sourness is achieved, we bring it back to a boil, and treat it as a normal beer after that, adding a touch of hops and ferment as normal. Gose, as a style, has touch of Salt and Coriander and is a great beer for adding fruit to. In this particular case we omitted the Coriander, and added Cardamon instead to compliment the Strawberry addition. | 4.50% | ||
